I love to have seen life during British Colonial times in India and if it was really as imperialistic as it was, but I would love to have seen any type of age where courting and romance was so very traditional. Women had poetry, songs, and plays written about them and devoted to them. LOL i dont know about anyone else but all i get now is a text! I think living in France during the Napoleonic wars might have been interesting too.

Hey, that's a great question!! I've always thought that if there was a way to go back in time that I would like to go back to the 1950s. I think it would be so cool to wear bobby socks and poodle skirts and drive '57 Chevys. You know, like on the movie Grease!!
My second choice would be the 1980s. I was born in 1975 and ,even though I grew up in the 80s, I was really young for most of the time. I wasn't a teenager until about 1986 or 1987 so I would have liked to be a little older in the early to mid 80s. I think that would have been cool.
Thanks for asking such a cool question!!

Ooo, intriguing question! I would pick Medieval Europe, in either GB or France, as a Lady. I would love to see what every day life was like that books now days just can't point out. I'd also love to visit Edwardian America, and meet my great grandmother. And the clothes from both periods would be so much fun to wear and experience first hand!

Why would you want to live at any time other than now? In times past the infant mortality rate was astronomical so you were lucky if you survived the first year of life, then if you were not part of the ruling thugs your life expectancy was around 30 and you had little if any protection against any number of diseases. There was War most of the time and your life would be anything but happy. Life was. to quote Hobbes: 'Nasty, brutish and short'.

I would choose the 80's. Although I was born in the mid 1980's, I can't remember anything since I was so young. Watching those "I love the 80's" specials on VH1 has helped me realize how awesome the 80's were.

I'd liked to have a glimpse of the pre and post decline of the Roman Empire. In the midst of the dark ages. Interesting to see the deterioration of a somewhat civilized society. Who knows how much of our history has been lost due to war and pillage of that era. I great deal of what we question today would be answered.

I think the Renaissance would be cool, as long as I wasn't an indentured servant or a plebe! LOL
