Europe is a large and diverse continent, my friend. Living conditions can vary from country to country, so you need to be more specific. (Which country, please?)
Since you seem to speak American English, I will assume your first European country of choice (should you seriously want to live there) would be the United Kingdom (U.K.). Health care, housing, cultural and religious freedoms, etc. are all very good here. London, in particular, is one of the most cosmopolitan cities on Earth; here you will find people of all races and persuasions living side-by-side or married to each other.
There are a lot more avowed atheists and sexual liberals in Europe as a whole, than in most countries (but again, it's a question of which country you're in---there are more of them in France than in the U.K., for instance). And there are more people who are into arts, culture and history, because being metrosexual is actually more of the norm.
But the cost of living is high in the U.K., as well as in most of Europe. The countries of Europe have modern economies and financial systems that have been running for at least 600 years --- now try imagining a history of price inflation just about that old! Switching to the euro (the European Union currency) hasn't helped much, and has even aggravated things in some places. (Imagine a bottle of beer that costs the equivalent of a fine-dining meal in the U.S. Ugh!)
If you plan to live anywhere in Europe (including the U.K.), your best bet is to work for the European office of an American multinational firm or organization. That way you get a bigger salary than most of your local counterparts, and having a beer won't hurt so much.

The Whether is generally unpredictable, but you can expect a lot of rain, global warming can be seen taking its toll and each winter becomes more unbearably cold and each summer temperatures soar to the point that some people inevitably die of heat stroke or dehydration.
Health Care is considered good because most young people and most old people, to be specific generally kids in full time education up to the age of 19 and adults over 60 are entitled to free health care under the NHS - but the system has its flaws and is failing - Not enough money is being put into it and patients with more serious illness are put on hundred foot long waiting lists for treatment in the hope that they may die before the government has to spend money on them.
It is generally thought to be a rich area of the world where everyoen earns high wages and is leading a considerably high standard and comfortable life style - but this image is flawed because the one or two percent that is deemed to be the povery stricken population of Europe is not represented as people but merely as a minute statitistic - and so is thought to be negligible, but 2 percent of many many millions is a lot of people - and so there is no shortage of poverty and desperation - young homeless kids living rough on the street - we just dont seem them.
So its not all that pretty, as it is portrayed for the privalaged people - we just dont the other side of it.
Other than that, it is expensive and commercialised heavily residential areas are phenomenally priced with regard to property - transport is good and efficient.

The UK is crap but the south of france and nearly all of spain is nice especially the islands, i recommend moving their like most Brits do, you don't even have to speak spanish everyone in the south of spain or on the spanish islands speaks English plus living cost are lower and wages are fairly good.

I spent some time in Switzerland, and my sisters spent time in France. We came away with the creepy feeling that living in either country is like living with Mom & Dad breathing down your neck forever.
We were all glad to come home to the U.S.
