Because that is how society portrays woman to be. Personally, I hardly wear make up only on special occasions, I don't get up an hour before work to put my makeup on, I feel secure about my self that I do not have to impress any one. The only one I have to impress thinks I am beautiful no matter what.

I would think she would want to look beautiful for herself first; but that's probably not the case. Men are 'visual' creatures and make their first judgements of a woman by their looks. So there you go....

I think it's because women want to feel good about themselves and society-namely media-has been brainwashing women for years to believe that they cant feel good about themselves unless they are beautiful.
All women are beautiful simply by being a woman!!

Because society tells her she needs to be "beautiful" to be accepted. It's a shame because you can look awesome on the outside, but ugly on the inside.

I want to get up every morning put on a little make up, nice outfit, and just feel good about myself. I don't do it for anyone but me.
