Lifting will change your posture and you will get a little taller. But more importantly, you will feel better about yourself so you will carry yourself more proudly, and seem taller too. DO NOT try the thick-soled shoes trick. Too obvious.
Taller hair can help too, but I am not sure if you are into that. :-)
Yoga also elongates your body and you will move and appear taller and improve your posture.
Don't get too hung up on your height. Men don't finish adolescence until their mid-20's-there's still a very good chance you'll grow. I'll prove it-look at Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise and look at his height today. BIG difference!
Also, hang out with short people-then you will look taller too!

this is the same answer I gave to someone else, hope it helps!
Surgery is an option but is costly and extremely painful I would imagine. I know in general guys don't like being vertically challenged but belive me when I say that your height is not going to prevent you doing pretty much everything that someone taller will be able to do.
As for the ladies, I'm 5ft 1 and I am not typically attracted to guys very much taller than me but on the occasion that I have, it still works. And if you are by chance only attracted to girls of top model stature, then think Mini-me, Dudley Moore, Tom Cruise and if you think, yeah well, they are like mega rich celebrities, take a look around you next time you are out, and you will see all sorts!
If this is really a very big issue with you then start with your doctor but I think the best advice is learn to love and accept the person you are and walk like you are 6ft tall!

you shouldn't want to change your height. just accept it. i'm relatively short too. i think surgery is too drastic and u should just accept the things about yourself that u can't change. if u still want to look taller wear shoes that have bigger (taller) heels. hope that helps!!
