Because you get to hear what other people are thinking about, what they are doing, what they love, hate, what makes them tic. It's all about 'real' people in the 'real' world. Some People are down right fasinating, some are not. Some people are ignorant. But in every movie, book, etc their is ALWAYS a villian of some sort. Yahoo answers is no exception. But for the most part, some people pour out their feelings and you get to hear that.

I think it is a way of communication that is extremely exciting..... it is like belonging to some online community and sometimes you get curious what's going on, what new questions have been asked, etc. and because we are all seekers and love intellectual challenge, we keep coming back here again and again!

It has its uses, I'll admit. But I wouldn't really call it addictive..

I can quit anytime! Seriously!

its addictive because of the points and the levels....but then you get to level 5 and you can answer questions with no limit...then it starts getting a bit dull.

I haven't figured that out yet. Maybe people think that because all the things that can teach you stuff is interesting. I like it because it is fun, funny and enjoyable.
