I'd go with Garmin....Garmin is widely used in Aviation...Lots of Large Jets use Garmin for navigational purposes. Same manufacturer, but different type of navigation. If Pilots use it, then it HAS to be good...

Garmin are now the best in the market, they have so many models to choose from that suites your needs, check out there website.
They have options on where you want to mount it, and once done, it does not shake, and no you don't have to permanently stick anything on the dash board.
