D and A respectively
It seems appropriate, given tonight is the last-ever Top of the Pops on UK TV to give you a "Top 20" of solar system objects.
Here is a table of the radii of the 18 largest objects in our solar system,
by radius in kilometres and size relative to Earth:
1 Sun 696,000 109.25
2 Jupiter 69,911 10.97
3 Saturn 58,232 9.14
4 Uranus 25,362 3.98
5 Neptune 24,622 3.87
6 Earth 6371.0 1
7 Venus 6051.8 95.0%
8 Mars 3390.0 53.2%
9 Ganymede 2631.2 41.3%
10 Titan 2575 40.4%
11 Mercury 2439.7 38.3%
12 Callisto 2410.3 37.8%
13 Io 1821.5 28.6%
14 Moon 1737.1 27.3%
15 Europa 1561 24.5%
16 Triton 1353.4 21.2%
17 2003 UB313 1200 ± 50 19%
18 Pluto 1153 18.1%
Ganymede, Callisto, Io and Europa are the 4 largest moons of Jupiter (discovered by Galileo Galilei on January 7, 1610), Titan is the largest moon of Saturn (discovered by Christiaan Huygens on March 25, 1655) and Triton is the largest moon of Neptune (discovered by William Lassell on October 10, 1846).
Mercury is smaller than 2 moons, Pluto smaller than 7 moons,
As you can read off above, Venus is 7th largest Neptune 5th largest and Saturn 3rd largest
On the second question, whilst A is the right answer, it isn't quite true,
(a) man-made satellites, the Hubble Space Telescope and the Space Shuttle Station are all nearer to the earth than the moon is.
(b) Some asteroids approach and fly by the earth closer than 1 Lunar Distance (the distance from the Earth to the Moon)
For example Asteroid 2004 FH. 2004 FH is a near-Earth asteroid that was discovered on March 15, 2004 by the NASA-funded LINEAR asteroid survey. The object is roughly 30 metres in diameter and passed just 43,000 km (26,000 miles) above the Earth's surface on March 18, 2004 at 22:08 UTC; making it the second closest approach to Earth ever recorded at the time. For comparison, geostationary satellites orbit Earth at 35,790 km.
Despite its relatively small size (about 30 metres), it is still the third largest asteroid detected coming closer to the Earth than the Moon.
The asteroid will not make another close approach to Earth until 2044 when it will be no closer than 1.4 Gm (1.4 million kilometres).
NB The Lunar Distance is not a constant but varies as the moon's orbit is elliptical and not circular:
The average distance from Earth to the Moon is 384,403 kilometers (238,857 miles).
Also the Moon is spiralling away slowly from the earth at about 2 cms a year.
With elliptical orbits we talk of apogee when describing the farthest the Moon can be from Earth and perigee when describing the closest the Moon can be to Earth,
There is one of each of these every lunar month. And 13 of each in a year,
In the period 1750 through 2125 the closest perigee was 356,375 kilometres (on 4th January 1912) and the farthest apogee will be 406,720 kilometres on 3rd February 2125.

Astronomers now know that the maria are large plains of solidified lava and that there is no water on the moon.
Eliminates B & C
The moon's orbit is elliptical, or oval shaped, which means that its distance from the Earth changes as it travels in its orbit. At its closest point to the Earth, known as perigee, the moon is 221,500 miles (356,600 kilometers) away. At its greatest distance, or apogee, it is 252,700 miles (406,800 kilometers) away.
