It's illegal for women to go topless in public, but it's not illegal for a women to get her breasts out to feed her infant. How unfair is that?

We must follow the law that we can't see the women's breasts in public. The women has their own private as in home fine. The men can shirtless, but the problems is men must wear the shirt outside that the police are keep an eyes on men.

The women can't show their breasts in the public, only in the private likes home.

Because our culture has decided that bare breasts are sexual and anything sexual in public is considered taboo. Basically it is culture/religion/politics working together to protect us from ourselves again. Media has made the human body, unnatural, and sex, tawdry.

I think it is time to take a good look back at our history and see what political and religious decisions were made out of fear and control and then make new decisions out of modest confidence, sustainable lifestyle, natural beauty, and personal responsibility. Maybe then we won't be wound so tight that we abhor breasts in public, but secretly watch all the bare breasts on TV and in movies in our darkened houses. And our children can learn to grow up with a healthy attitude towards sex and the human form.

Sorry about the rant. I just see that this issue is another one mixed up in the problem-filled world we are supposed to be stewards of.

I don't know whether this is the real reason, but I suspect there would be endless auto wrecks and workmen falling off scaffolds. Men would be walking into store windows and creating untold confusion all around. Then they would try to sue barebreasted women for failing to wear disclaimers against liability.

Especially good-looking shapely-breasted women would attract an entourage of stalkers who would follow them wherever they went. And, they would be accused of shamelessly advertising their destinations. Men would leave for work in the morning and never get there.

Well women can go nude ( as in bare) but they cannot draw attention to themselves ( more than they already are) such as touching themself or raising money ( because it seems only allowed in Paris or France whereevr it was to host a masturbating rally....look it up) but it isn't the fact that it isn't accepted, it's just that women do not want to be shamed. Men however take their shirts off ( like me) because we aren't afraid to and we sometimes like the responses from women or we just like to be seen ( based on what our body looks like). Men of course see breasts as like a type of "who cares...we both have them" type thing but women see it as more of a sacred thing because it has been sooo heavily pounded in our society about showing bare skin ( I mean c'mon, women used to even cover their wrists and ankles because it made men arroused). It all comes down to how conservative they are. Oh and when you really think about it, seeing a women nude like at a nude beach for instance really won't get you arroused, it's more of the curiosity behind it ( which is why women used to cover themselves up so much so that men used their minds) so seeing bare breats on the regular basis wouldn't be as benefitting as it would be if you were to see a women wearing a white tank top with a black bra on. It's the whole temptation/curiosity that triggers your mind to get arroused...maybe women no that naturally?...lol

feels like i got wayyyy off topic. But maybe you'll get what i mean =p

eZ ( I have an 8pack by the way so of course noone really minds haha..especially being in Highschool n all ;) ...)

..oh yeah it also depends on where you are because you wouldnt want to walk down a suburban neighborhood past this rich couple sweating all over with your shirt off...they would find that offensive or something. So it depends when and where it is. but...yea..

hope I provided some knowledge ( from a teenager atleast)

Because men have hangups about it. If you really think of it, it is for the same reason that women across the world are required to cover themselves from head to toe. Both reasonings are truly no different.

It has been this way for centuries. Breasts are already considered a private body part. It would look strange seeing them on the street.

In New York State a woman can go topless anywhere in public as long as it's not done in such a way to profit financially.

For some reason breasts were considered "private parts" back in the day and it's just always been that way.

Think of the downside: There would be some women with breasts like basset-hound ears who would still think they looked good enough to show.

because of the size and look, nobody cares about looking at a mans breast.if a man took female hormone and grew big breasts they would have to cover them because they would not be able to go anyware without covering them.
