You do need Acrobat Reader, it's free. If you know how to use DOS commands, you can split PDF files apart, and maybe separate an image from a file using pdftk.exe.

Download the Acrobat Reader and install it - all your pdf files should now open in it perfectly.

Do you know for pdf file you should have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your computer? then you will not need to change image. Adobe acrobat reader is available for free.
Or if you want to change pdf in to image you will need a converter from pdf to image.
