No, the color was always secondary. I have been bound by what I can afford, not what I would like to buy. My current car is sunburst orange and I just happen to love it. It suits my middle aged image.

We have 6 vehicles, 4 of them we looked ans searched untill we found a color we liked and were happy with..
2 of them we had no choice, but for the price we couldnt say no..
Im happy, and when 3 of them get restored, the colors might be changed a bit...

I always by used vehicles, so very rarely do I have an option. My last car was a Blue Mazada Protege, and I actually didn't mind the color... it suited the overall look of the car.

Even though I like the color, I chose the car as a whole. This is especially true when I buy a used car; car first, color second

You always have the option of choosing your color. A particular dealer might not have it in stock, but he can get it.

i have actually just upgraded cars, ( last wednesday ), gone to a 97 model , instead of my old 90 model.
When I saw the car, I fell in love with it, including the color.
