Blair Drummond, a safari park just north of Stirling would be good. Not only are there animals (drive-through, zoo-style, and farm animal petting area), but lots of play areas, grassy lawns, a sealion show and a boat ride.

Oh, and there's free kids tickets available off the web:

I'm not a 2 year old, but I love it! :-)

edinburgh zoo is great, the only downside is it's based on a hill, so it'll kill your legs! the penguin parade is great for adults, never mind kids, the penguins go for a walk, right in front of you, it's a huge attraction. there are also other attractions in and around edinburgh if you don't spend a whole day at the zoo. the museum of childhood is great. check out www.visitscotland.com they have a list of attractions.

East Links Family Park in Dunbar is a MUST. You and your child will LOVE it. There's a petting zoo with baby animals, a train that takes you round the whole park, the facility to feed the animals, free go karts....A GREAT day out!!

Take in a "highland fling" if you can find out. Or any of the food. Scotland is beautiful, it's hard to go wrong.
