When the film 'Little Vioce' staring Micheal Caine and Ewan Mcgregor, with Jane Horrocks and Brenda Blethyn was made it was filmed in the street I was living in at the time, My partner and I were asked to be extras in the fire scene and paid £50 each for doing so+ refreshments, cos it was at 2am when they got round to calling us.
Great to meet the stars as well, nice people.

Completed the Harry Ramsden's challenge at the original restaurant at Guisely and got certificate from it - had to eat all of the biggest fish and chip meal I have ever had :o)

I was on American TV promoting a hospital for their kidney donation programme... after I gave one of mine to my Uncle who lives in Texas. I also met Bernard Bresslaw from the Carry On movies, got his autograph too. He was the tall dark haired one.....

My high score on tetris is 3,170,000. I cleared so many lines that the game stopped keeping track of them about 30 min. before I finally lost.

i went on davina mcolls show dont try this at home and they asked for 20 volunteers so me and my husband put our hands up. we had to see how many people could get into this gals lasso i was first to go cos this stupid girl pushed me in the front (serves her right cos she didnt get on the show) and they got about 20.

knowing a friend who was the lead guitarist in paul wellers band right up to when they were getting their first recording contract.he also was the one to teach paul weller how to play the guitar
