Well, I think you're only a geek if you are the person that sits at home splicing together pieces of old episodes & the movies to create a Star Trek 11 after you dream it...or, writing fan fics that have "Ensign [your name here]" as the main character...at that point it's past enjoyment/hobby and to the point of scary/obsession.
