You don't have to force yourself on other people they can follow whatever they want to.
It's okay that your a follower of Jesus and everything but Jesus died to set us free you should value that and your individuality.
Oh wait I never answered your question. I don't like heavy metal but to be honest I think people can listen to whatever they want. Think about this if you can find impurities in rock music try find some in other genres. You'd be surprised when you think about it.
I hope you don't take offense in this I'm just voicing my opinion.

No, heavy metal bands are not "dangerous to listen to". People think heavy metal is devil music, bullshit. listen to the lyrics, there not telling you to kill yourself or someone else. There telling you to stand up for what you belive in, to be yourself. They are not telling you to praise Satan, to put a cap in someones *** or beat your ho. Here are a few heavy metal bands to check out.. Zao, Norma jean, Winter solstice, August burns red and As I lay dying. It may suprise you, but these are christian metal bands.
