will a 200w ps-6161-2h1 replace a 188w ps-6161-2h1?

if the wires are the same as far as the connecters then yes.

if you are worried about going from 188w to 200w then don't.

the only thing that matters is if the PS will fit into the case and if the wires fit the motherboard.

I don't see why not, sound like you have a older system. might want to stop spending money on it.
