NO!! Love is something a develops, it doesn't just hit you like a sack of ****. Those marriages that are founded on that "love at first sight" are the ones that fail. The ones that are based on a mutual respect for each other, and other commonalities, as well as at least liking each other lol are the ones that prosper. This is an American concept as our culture flourishes on instant gratification. Think about what you see when you see someone: You think "wow he's hot!" you don't think: "wow look at the moral character on that guy!" Why? Because you don't love someone because they're "hot" you love them for things that are not visible like moral character for instance. You'd have to get to know someone in order to even grasp that. Not that it's wrong to enjoy that instant flush that a crush may put on your face. God knows that when my fiance and I first started dating my knees felt like jello every time he looked at me. But I didn't mistake it for love, he's a SEXY young man so it was all out LUST... But I digress lol. Love develops it doesn't come crashing down on you the moment you see someone. That would just be scary.

Anybody who thinks it is possible to fall in love at first sight must have a very shallow idea of love. Either that or they are confusing love with lust. Lust at first sight is possible. More than that, it is the main motivation for initiating a relationship. But feeling anything deeper than that at first sight seems like a joke to me.

I do think its possible, too "Lust", at first sight, and too have an "Infatuation" at first, sight.......Its those people, who were "Completely " compatible, and stayed together with so much Love for one another, that made-up, that whole "Concept". I think, you could just "Love", someone, you first meet's Heart, and their whole "Demenour" about them, and especially if you both arrange to meet again....You can leave their saying to yourself "This is the Guy, I'm in Love", and get the whole "Butter-fly" thing going on, and it could even seem like "Love" at first sight....... I guess, the "Answer" to your question, is "Yes", I think if you really felt Love, with your encounter, time with that person, then "Yes" there is such a thing, as "Love" at first sight........

Yes. But if give and take attitude and understanding and accepting each others point of view and mutual respct is not developed, such love fails miserably.
