Don't know who controls all of it but think all news media should have to give a disclosure before every broadcast that states what party they are registered under! This should be a requirement for all of them before they get a license to go on air!

Do you mean reporting the news accurately, whether or not America is cast in a favorable light, is wrong? I want the media to report the news and let me decide how I feel about it. America is no stranger to making mistakes. When they report only certain things and leave out the rest then they are guilty of promoting someone else's agenda ... propaganda. Not that I think the current conflict in the Middle East isn't important, it is, but I'd like to hear the rest of the news each day. That's why I like to read the newspaper and search the internet.

The right-wing Conservative media is controlled by those who favor unrestricted capitalism - and make generous (if not illegal) campaign bribes (excuse me, 'contributions') to help keep the Republicans in office.
By doing so, they can keep the minimum wage artificially low for millions of America's working poor while reaping excessive profits and paying executives five hundred times what they pay an average employee.
With loudmouths like Rush Limbaugh and Shawn Hannity posing as "political commentators" (instead of propagandists similar to those during the Hitler and Stalin regimes), the rich, powerful, influential egoists maintain their positions in a social structure that caters only to their needs instead of the needs of the general populace.

The Bush administration flagrantly controls the media against all Constitutional odds. When it wants something reported that conveniently fits its agenda, the Bush people leak information to the press; when it's a new item they'd prefer to keep secret, the Bush people try to censure the press. Such control imposes a severe restriction on the Fourth Estate to serve the people as guardians and protectors of the truth. The press is beholden to the government (and if certain members of the press don't "tow the line", Bush simply bans them from participating in further press conferences.
This is the first step toward becoming a police state, where citizens are presumed guilty until proven innocent. The control that the Republican Party and its conservative base has over the press is not just repugnant; it ignores the vision of our original founding fathers, who insisted on a free press and freedom of expression for all - not just for those who agreed with the current administration's points of view. -RKO-

That depends on your view of un-American. You should try checking out some of the other news sources in the world and see their spin on the USA. Start with Reuters. They are probably as unbiased as any you will find.
