I've actually begun studying my families traditions.. and realizing how much I miss them. I am second generation born here, and my roots are Catholic.. I won't say more than that..
I miss all the holy days.. the blessing of the baskets (of food) for Easter, and the Blessing of the home.
I will treasure more my family at Christmas, and make this year a 'homemade' Christmas.. with all the fancy and fluff - homemade of course .
Then there's Thanksgiving!!
And and and.. our country's celebration!!!
and and and..
and so it goes.. I gather with my family, and each holiday becomes my favorite.

I know that wherever our sons and their family's are, it is certain that we will be together two days out the year.. Christmas and Father's Day..

I love Halloween. It is so much fun to dress up in a costume (usually something sexy) and go to haunted houses! I love Fright Fest at Six Flags Great America. The spookiness of Halloween is kinda sexy!
I also love Christmas with the white snow outside and the beautifully lit up tree with all the presents underneath it. Christmas is great because it's a time to give and receive.

Halloween!!! First & foremost! love it, love it - can't get enought of it!
Then Valentines' Day, everything has to be hearts everywhere!!!

Easter, St Patricks Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Mardi Gras, Memorial Day, all of the others, with Christmas last.

I decorate my life for each holiday as they come along & I have a lot of fun with it. Life is too short not to celebrate!!

My favorite Holidays are: Thanksgivings Day, and Christmas. After we celebrate what is important about both of those days, we can sit down and eat until we have to loosen our pants.

(white) Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Christmas (considering it has snow) for all of the beautiful snow- everything clean and magical, and for the thrill of waking up early and knowing there are unknown presents just waiting underneath the wonderful Christmas my mother and I excitingly and carefully decorate every year... lol. It's just lovely to prepare for Christmas and the day itself, of course. All togther, happy, talking, laughing, eating, watching the snow, going outside to play... and not forgetting the true religious side to Christmas, praying at the end of the day to say thank you for your blessings.

Thanksgiving because it's finally a day where you can celebrate blessings and be truly grateful. I happen to be a very grateful person and love the fact that this day glorifies just that! Plus, there's all of the delicious stuffing and gravy and it seems like this day marks autumn- I love autumn (and winter) the most...

Thank you for reading! :)

P.S. My birthday happens to be in between both (Nov. 29) !! Cool, huh? ;)

My favorite is Halloween. I have a party every year for friends and family. It is a great time and nobody is stressing about gifts, like at Christmas. Plus, it is just plain fun to dress up in silly costumes.

Christmas. I love to get dressed in a Santa Claus suit and give gifts to the kids from 1 to 100. Just to see the smile on there face and excitement to see what they got.
