We compete for each other's men, catfight, and bit@h. Why? The men seem to get along better than us. How is it that the very gender that brings life to this planet can't seem to pull together?

It's funny that "Yahoo Nickname" says she has NEVER done any of this stuff...yet she is putting you down by telling you to grow up. :) isn't that funny? I guess that goes to show that we don't even realize when we put each other down. What a f****** B*****!! J/K

You have two females that have answered this question that live in a fantasy world! Granted they may have never done anything that you have mentioned nor have any friends that act that way but they must still realize that we live in a society that there are still other women who do. Especially in the work place. Women are considered minorities just like people of color are. Therefore we must compete to get ahead. Men compete in sports, politics, and at the workplace. We do it in every aspect of life!

Disingenuous, jealous, insecure, three terms I would have to apply to 90% of the female race. I would say though that 1/2 of this is due to the male populations exploitation of us.
I realize this is generalization which I am not known for but the answer was for a generalized question.

because most women know that men cannot be friends with a female..they just can't. So of course women are not going to dump their man and become best friends with his mistress..I'm sure they will both hate each other. Men are threatened by one another too, they just do everything in a different way.

I tend to agree with you its pittiful we put each other down - but you notice we also put men down a great deal too.. like I have seen women shop and say nasty things like "I will hide this from my husband so he doesnt know I bought it" or "men are dumb I can bring this home and he wont even notice it" and slogans on shirts put men and women down all the time
then we wonder where kids learn bullying??

Speak for yourself. I have never disrespected my female friends. They stick around longer than men anyway.
One thing I've never understtod is the tendency for some women to attack the woman her man had an affair with, accusing her of "stealing" her man. Like he's an inanimate lump??? C'mon, have a brain. A man can't be "stolen" unless he WANTS to go. Dump the loser, don't attack the woman.

I think women who do what you're talking about in your question are women with no self-esteem, no pride and no respect for themselves and it carries over to the people who are most like them....other women. Very Sad.

it seems to be human nature. when a group is held down socially, emotionally, monetarily...humans in the group will attack each other, maybe out of frustration, and stress. African Americans have been held down for years and for awhile they were killing each other off.
I believe it is human nature.

Please do NOT catagorize all women this why. I have NEVER done any of this stuff. It is childish and not a way for a woman to comport herself. Grow up is my suggestion.
