Honestly, I kind of doubt it. Makes you wonder why we continue to choose the path we are on now.

Renewable energy sources like ethanol doesn't work, not enough to ever replace all the gas plus it takes natural gas to boil the corn to make ethanol.

Wind energy is ok but it won't work on a hot days its been around here with no wind.

If you mean are we ready to not have to pay the high gas prices, of course! If you are asking if the masses are ready to put out more money for expensive devices up front, to save money later, I certainly hope so. We need to diversify so we are no longer at the mercy of foreign oil companies and their governments!
