I read your questions and don't feel this coolness. What I felt was a young person trying to fit in, reaching out for others and being very normal.
Now, if you are speaking about having cold emotions, I didn't feel that either but thats not to say you don't hide behind a mask of "coolness".
Either way, keep reaching out and either you will learn by practice or your fingers will get stomped like the rest of us.

Put on a sweathshirt or go outside, it's warm out. Also, try turning down the thermostat and step away from the fan.

Because your air conditioning is set to 50 ... go turn it up a bit .. I find 72 a nice comfortable temperature.
