well the point of mcdonald's making ads is to get more ppl to eat there. if u show fat ppl on the commercial, then ppl wouldnt go to eat at mcdonald's anymore bcuz the commercial is basically saying that if u eat at mcdonald's your going to get fat like this person here. and most ppl dont WANT to be fat. so yeah...

I don't think that ALL fat people eat at McDonald's. I do see some people eating in there that are not fat. I don't think that you see a 400lbs woman modeling for Lane Bryant or some other plus size store.

Truthful is IN ITS perception. You perceive that 'Since most of the people who eat their are fat' so that is obviously truth. Grow up if you look around you did you really need all the stuff that you have purchased in the last year or is most of it just sitting not being used?

You know what MacDonalds should advertises fat people. But the only reason they don t want to have fat people in there advertisments is because they don t want to scary away their customers in think that there food is to fat and not health enough. therefore, that why they have salads and fruit bowls in a sense to trick people that there food is still health enough for there customers.

It would gross some people out. Truth naturally doesn't sell. Secondly it would say they (McDonald's) are making people fat according to their ads(evidence) and McDonald's would eventually be sued for these allegations.

because they wan't people to think they won't become fat from eating McDonalds and so if they go they will still be skinny instead of becoming overweight which is the truth! sadly

Yes, the truth would be nice to see, but marketers want to portray positive images so people will continue to eat there.

Truth in advertising doesn't apply to Billion Dollar Companies! (An opinon, not a fact.)

Yes, but then they would be advertising against themselves. By showing people that you get fat from it won't exactly help their business.
