perhaps tied together with ropes, could a bridge be built out of bone? How strong would it be? How long would it last?

would bones of a particular species be better than another?

Creepy but interesting question.

Assuming that the bones are placed to form reinforcing struts, perhaps in a series of equilateral triangles, I imagine that the overall structure would be comparable to building with twigs or tinker toys.

You are not going to make a Golden Gate or Brooklyn Bridge, but an ossified traverse over a small river or stream seems likely.

But man that would be a lot of bones.

you'd have to be Pol Pot, Idi Amin or the ancient Aztecs or similar to be that dedicated...

is this for an RPG?

of course. its strength depend on how it was constructed. it will last depending on how much weight is applied to it, and other factors such as corrosion etc.
