On my street we have a new STOP street sign, Problem is every time I stop at it, people horn me. Like whats the problem. I stop and then procede through the intersection if clear or I have the right of way.

Hmmm. Stop means stop. You're the one who'll have to pay the fine if a police officer sees you "crawling" or "driving" through the stop sign.
Just ignore the other drivers.
(You might want to contact whoever is in charge of putting up street signs and see if they'll change it to a "Give Way" or similar if you think the intersection doesn't warrant a stop sign).

Call the police department have tell them that you have almost been hit at the new stop sign and have them patrol the area. When people run the stop sign, they will get a ticket and you'll feel better!

Stop, get out of the car and go back to the honker and ask them what their problem is. (if you're brave and want to risk a road rage incident.) Seriously, I don't know what the answer is, but be assured that you are doing the right thing.

Maybe some people haven't realized there is a new stop sign there. Or they're impatient and rude. I've had people honk at me and flip me off for stopping at yellow lights that are turning red, as well as waiting for oncoming traffic. Ignore them! They're hopeless jerks.

Stick your arm out the window and motion for them to go around you, then laugh when they get caught by the police for disobeying a stop sign. LOL...LOL

One time this happened and I stopped the car, put it in park, reached in the back seat and got my Club (the antitheft device) and got out of the car and smashed the bastard's window who was behind me honking and grabbed him by his ******* neck and poked him with the Club and said if you ever honk and me again I will break your god damn kneecaps and **** down your throat. ******.

get your self a bumper sticker that says "I stop at all Stop signs"
and when they honk at you, just turn around smile and wave at then for like a minute or two, next time they wont beep at you.
