Yes, but the process is extremely wasteful. You would have to use the electrical power to synthesize deisel fuel from basic carbon and hydrogen. This can be done, but you will lose most of the energy as heat in the process.

Electricity can be produced by burning diesel in a generator. Electricity is energy. Diesel is matter. Diesel is distilled from crude oil. We are currently working on diesel from coal, oil shale and from soy beans or other sources of vegetable oil.

You could use electricity to help may bio-diesel but that takes more than just electricity.
