a jerk everybody tends to respect you ,,,
iam sure that everyone fight for living ,,,and i know that, for me, being a jerk is easier than being nice
but
do i have to emotionally black mail others ,,
or is it the ennviroment i live in,,,

Maybe it's because you have your own interest at heart and not the interest of others. You can't get respect unless you give respect. And being a jerk; well, it might be an easy way to disguise your emotions. Also, making friends and being nice to people involves being vulnerable. If you're not willing to be vulnerable emotionally then, you won't be able to love or be friends completely. You can't play games with people. You have to be willing to be hurt...willing to give...willing to take. OK...all in all you should be kind to others and not expect anything from them. Sooner or later someone will give you that love that you are seeking. God Bless.

Its entirely possible to be a nice guy, and not be a pushover. Gives you the best of both worlds.
Its also possible to be a jerk and still be a pushover. But when you emotionally black mail others, you are just asking for the same to be done to you. Cause whether you like it or not, what you give, is exactly what you end up getting.

Maybe it's the environment. I been there before. I finally realized I had to be a dick with some people. As soon as they found out I changed, they saw no more as the nicest guy in the class. You could be nice, dude. But when it comes for people to tell you things that are improper, you gotta answer back. My replies would sometimes hurt them. I left sorry afterwards, but hey, they chose to mess around with the wrong person and they asked for it. I was respectful most of the time, no doubt. But when it came to telling me crap, I burn them. You got to learn how to be both. You'll know who to be nice with and you'll know who to be a ****** with.

Don't do anything you don't want to do.. respect is givin when people around you believe in you and when you treat other people with respect.... You can't always get what you want.. you don't have to go around and blackmail other people for the sake of being liked... when someone likes you for you, you'll really appreciate it more.
