Dont hate them.
But can never understand why, when mine is the only other car in the car park, they park right up beside me, and leave me little room to get back into my car.
Daft.

Only if they park so close that it makes getting out of my own car more difficult. If they park evenly between the lines and leave ample space to get in and out of a car then it doesn't matter.
I hate it when people in huge SUV's can't seem to maneuver a parking space and use 2 parking spaces; as well as people in expensive imports that park across 2 parking spaces as if to say "my auto is way more important than yours, don't touch."

I find it easier to park next to a car than in a area of empty spaces, as it makes it easier to line up my car in the space.
But I can see your point when the car parks inches away from you so the doors won't open; that's pretty annoying.

Dear God, yes! It is almost like these people are toying with you. A big *** parking lot and you have to park next to me? Why?
Are they that lonely in hoping that they can bump into you when you leave so they can talk to you? This is the sense that I usually get. That and the one where they are jerks!

I do when they park up so close to the driver's door I can't get out.
And if it's an emptyish car par, I get a childish resentment that they couldn't find their own space and are parking next to me because they think I'm onto something good.
I think I'll try parking in a skip (Dumpster) and see if they follow me in there. (Mean vindictive snigger).

The herding instinct is very strong in some of us - must be a leftover from our prehistoric antecedents.
