Traditionally the man worked and the woman took care of the house and cooked, but with female liberation cooking became to be looked upon as enslaving.
It even got to the extreme that cooking was seen as a menial task
It may be on an unconscious level, but when women want their husbands to cook it gives them a feeling of empowerment.

What makes the difference is if he takes the initative and makes me dinner without telling me - it's the planning and thought that I like. For the rest of the time, I would prefer to do the cooking because my husband, like so many out there, can only use a BBQ (and most things come out burnt), or a Geroge Foreman grill. :(

Mmm...for me...I'll cook for my husband (one day if I have any) as much as I could...but there will be some times...I'd expect him to cook for me (this is only valid if he's a good cook, if he can't cook maybe i'd choose to eat out)...like in the weekend or whenever he got time to do that...
It's like one of the luxury of having a husband...the be spoiled with the meals the cook just for us...

Absolutely, I hate eating out and I hate to cook. I will do laundry and other chores but cooking drives me crazy.
I love a man that cooks!

men really doesn't cook coz kitchen is a woman's place that is why when a man cooks, women regards it as an act of love. it is an expression of something!

Yeah I think its sexy to see a man in the kitchen since its such a stereotype of that being a womans job so it kinda puts more emphasis on it
