I don't know if either is a gay icon but I like Christina better then Britney. Britney Spears is trashy and superfisal. (so not spelled right but you know.) But then again Christina does have a lot of blonde hair dye going on.

first of all an icon is someone who's stood the test of time weathered storms and survived, a diva..............those are people like tina turner, bette midler, cher, madonna. in 20 years brit or christina MIGHT be icons right now they're little ladies in waiting.

Britney probably.. her songs seem easier to sing along to while dressed up in drag outfits or during a gay parade.

I think xtina believes herself as more sexual, more provocative, more showy, and shes not really so shes more of a gay icon. Plus she made this song "beautiful" which is true in the lives of many gay people.

i would say christina because she sang the song Beautiful, and its about gays, and that we everyone is beautiful in their own way, and featured gay men in her video.
