The country is surrounded by enemies. You can't fight terrorists and suicide bombers with military might or diplomacy.
They unfortunately can't be moved to Arizona or some other place on earth where they can live in peace.
What's the future hold? Condemned to be wiped out?
Condemned to involve us all in a world war??

Israel will never know real peace. Never. They will always be provoked to retaliate. Always. As long as Iran and Syria exist with its present form of leaderships, the future will be no better than what it is now. If and when hostilities subside in Lebanon, the whole cycle begins again - Hezbollah rearming, Israel licking its wounds - waiting for another planned incident to start a new fight. In a way, many EU countries have been 'terrorised' to do nothing - more "watch & see" than "shock & awe".

I think the future of Israel shall stand still yet it will require a very religious hold to it. from the bible we are made to understand they are God's chosen people. There is no way He will abandon them. Look at the reality of things, these issues have been going on since from the biblical times of Abram & the promised land of Canaan. they had to fight their way through to the land of milk and honey. Its still going on today. They will prevail. it is God's will.
"two nations are in your womb, two peoples are querelling while still within you; But on eshall surpass the other, and the older shall serve the younger" (Genesis 25: 23)

Israel is plagued by 2 species of fire ants called HAM-AZS and HezBULLie. You don't live in peace with fire ants. You may:

1. Exterminate them. This is regrettable.

2. Avoid them. This is impossible as they continue to invade your property.

3. Negotiate with them. This is ineffective because ants don’t negotiate in good faith.

4. Allow them to bite you. This is extremely painful and sometimes fatal.

Since 2, 3 and 4 don’t work, that leaves 1.

Israelis and Arabs need to remember that most of us are siblings of twins Jacob and Esau. Our fight began in Rebekah's womb. It is a family feud and we need to go before our Father, God to settle our family dispute, not in public letting the world know how dysfunctional a family we are.

"Israel" and it's people can't live in peace. But the rest of the world "could" if Israel and it's people were eradicated.
