I myself was skeptical so I asked a question on Q&A. Is the movie made from a true life story. The Aussie's came back with the answer's. Yes. One of the answerer's had apprently been following the story with interest when it first hit the Aussie papers because he was very informative. The young man that was initially arrested and held on suspicion for murder of the two girls for one year, was released due to none suficient evidence. He couldn't remember the exact place where he was held and terrorized, even though a search of the surrounding area by the meteor hole was covered, nothing was found. But the answerer did go on to say that a fair bit of that does go on in Australia and no one is caught due to the vastness and a number of unpopulated area's. But I do agree with you it was well done. A bit slow at the start and picked up around the meteor site.

I really enjoyed the movie myself. It might not be up there with big box office hits, but the realism of the acting was outstanding. I also felt the same way about another movie which many people criticized unfairly, The Blair Witch Project. Anyone can fake a scene, but it takes outstanding acting to make the viewer feel as if this is actually happening and just hapened to get caught on film. Two big thumbs up for the Aussies and the actors who made the film possible. Keep up the good work guys.

Isn't Wolf Creek the one where they go visit that crater? If so, then that movie sucked balls. My husband and I turned it off after about 30min of absolute bull sh*t! If you want to watch a great horror flick, then I suggest The Hills Have Eyes.

The movie was okay, nothing spectacular. The main reason why I rented this movie was to support my friend, Ross Wilson, who's song Eagle Rock was the main theme.

I was disappointed with it. It wasn't scary. It was just the usual drooling slasher type film.
