Salt, if you mean common table salt, is Sodium (Na) and Chlorine (Cl). If you mean salt as a general chemical term, it is a two-component compound, with one part positively charged, typically a metal such as Sodium (Na), Calcium (Ca), Cobalt (Co), or a positvely charged radical such as Ammonium (NH4) and with the second part being negatively charged, most easily looked at as what's left when hydrogen is stripped from and acid, such as Cl (Chloride), NO3 (Nitrate), SO4 (Sulfate), etc.

A project due Tuesday? And you don't even know the formula for common table salt?

Obviously you are not studying, you are not reading, you are doing everything but what you should be doing to learn chemistry.

You are dishonest and deceitful not just to others but to yourself.

I really hope you flunk your course.

We don't need a society filled with ignorant people in positions of authority who pretend they know things. That would ensure our society becomes very corrupt.
