I have spent the last half hour looking for the emblem that You are talking about, and I Know the on you mean but cant for the life of me remember it was not Mercury of that I am positive.

The closest that I can find on the net is the old bonnet mount of the rolls Royce but it is not the one
(I have a feeling it is American though)

Sorry I cant help any more then this.

Guy Motors of Wolverhampton used an emblem of a American Indian Chief in a feathered war bonnet, but they built lorries and buses, not many cars.

You're either looking at either Rover or Minerva's old emblem, from what I can tell.

Try googling what I've found. I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I remember seeing that emblem before.

The emblem you are asking about , I beleive is the god Mercury, which was found on the early models of the Mercury car.

Like on the car in 'Sorry Miss Jackson' by OutKast? Mercury, I think, which was absorbed by Ford, I believe.
Mercury was the winged messenger of the gods.
