Yeah its a gift, since it's the same energy as other life functions and life force.

It tells us when something is going against our nature or against the grain.. and is kind of like an alarm bell.

For a start, it shows us that we're looking at something we DON'T want, so we can direct our focus to what we DO want. Also it gives us energy to move past the situation, rather than just moping around in depression.. anger is a moving force as well.

Sandy, i imagine you recognize what i will say. sure, anger ought to and ought to correctly be used to damage nazis. perchance better exciting is the conception of 'anger as a present' i ought to assert that the definition of anger that you listed isn't particular adequate. 'Anger' is a feeling that you've once you're helpless and able the position you're being wronged, or some different person is being wronged. Like I analyze a boy who develop into abducted in an area close to the following. i trust 'indignant' because i will't do something about it. at the same time as human beings insurrection on the line, that is this emotion. this isn't the emotion that a nazi hunter employs. there is yet another variety of emotion that has the uncooked fringe of anger and the nitrouscontinual of exuberance. you will discover it at a punk rock live performance. you will discover it on Yoda's face at the same time as he attracts his lightsaber. you could experience it in a lady at the same time as she pins you to the wall with suggestions out of your neck and says 'this evening, you're mine, Cowboy'. What i'm attempting to assert is that there is a superb line between a tremendous emotion and a negative one. it really is what turns a protest right into a insurrection. It turns a nazi hunter right into a nazi. So how do you take advantage of 'that anger'? Channel it properly, Padawan.

Anger is a prime emotion. I try to be conciouss of it and decide what to do with it when I get it. That differs on every occasion. Anyway I like to use it productively, it must work for me, not against me.
If someone would attack me, it might save my life.
If I feel anger and don't want to hurt anyone, I try to redirect it and make it productive.

It's a useful tool, when seen accepted as a part of what is. The only problem is controlling it. Knowing when enough is enough. We don't seem to learn that one quick enough to stop the punch hitting us first!! LOL
