If it is not severe, you can use bleach to kill the mold.
But mold can be very, very dangerous throw them away if you don't feel comfortable about getting it all.

You don't,,, to be on the safe side toss it and buy a new blanket.....you can use bleach but that does not guarantee that all of the mold and mildew will be gone.

If there's mold pitch them, blankets are reasonable to buy, why take chances

wall the washer is filling up put a cap of bleach in VERY SMALL AMOUNT and make sure its mixed in well with the water BEFOR YOU PUT THE ARTICALS this is very inportant so so dont get bleach dots on you blanket k??? if that doesnt work toss it
