if someone was to have their period starting july 2..thats cramping and brown stuff is that considered the first day of last mens period..or is it the day when it is really heavy? and when would be the next period due???? thanks

The first day of bright red bleeding is the first day of your cycle. And your next period would most likely start one cycle later, although stress of various types can delay it. So if you have a 24 day cycle, your next period would probably start 24 days later, and if you have a 37 day cycle, 37 days later.

Cycle day one is the first day of full flow. Spotting would not be cycle day one. Your next period's date is not something anyone here could tell you. Each woman is different. You might want to start marking a calendar with first day of each cycle. You'll see that it will fall into a pattern. Ex: every 28 to 30 days.

There are also online ovulation calculators there, however you'd need to enter your past 2 or 3 cycles of information on it.

It's already Jul30; 2 more days until 2Aug.; has your period always been heavy or as you've described? It's possible if you have had sex. that you're pregnant and get to to Doctor to see you are Ok. I was pregnant for "2" period cycles before discovering I was pregnant because my menstrual cycle was very light, not heavy as normal; But then again in my late teens, I had my period for 3 weeks straight and he said it was my body adjusting to all it's changes...good luck!

no one can tell you when your next period is due, as we don't know whether your on a 21 day cycle or a 28 day cycle.
