Hezbollah hides among civilians, so that when a few inocent people die, they can claim the high moral ground against Israel.
Using human shields actually puts them much much lower.

Because Hezbollah are terrorists. There was a cease fire until the hezbollah decided to kidnap Israeli soldiers, lets talk about how bright that was. Israel has always believed in an "eye for an eye" and they are right in their thoughts that if they not only take out the terrorists but everyone connected to them, there will not be people coming to seek revenge. As for the person that was saying it is all Israel's fault due to not respecting the rules of engagement... hezbollah doesnt either or they would not be enciting homicide bombers to take out hospitals and restraunts.
The real moral to the story? DO NOT take on Israel unless you have more firepower than they do... which wouldnt be easy.

When an enemy is vastly superior in weapons and numbers, the 'weaker side' formulates a strategy to survive... to fight another day.
Hezbollah has been brilliant in the eyes of the muslim world (the only world that matters); cowardly in the eyes of the western world (their views don't count)... to withstand the daily Israeli aerial onslaught, encountering with thousands of rockets fired into Israel and inflicting casualties on Israeli troops - a people who value and cherish "life" like no others on earth.
Hezbollah, the political party have been reported to do better social work in Lebanon than the Lebanese government itself. But when it comes to life-&-death situations, they know what it takes to survive - that in itself is a victory.

Hezbollah is using the civilians as shield to attack the Israelis. On one side, they would not get hurt and on the other, to get the world sympathy because of killings of the civilians.
They are not fighting for the people, but for themselves.

notice how israel doesnt respect the law and kill civilians when they are not suppose to touch them they are suppose to fight the soldiers not the cilivlians

Like there are those who "in God's name", inflict "collatoral damage" uppon civilians for their own political goals, there are also those who inflict "collatoral damage" uppon "there own" civilians. The same "logic" applies in both cases.
