I just built a house and moved in August 5, 2005. I just received my property taxes for this year and they are already late because they had sent them to my previous address. They are now going to be 10 days late before they open and I can get them paid. Tjis is my first house and my first propery taxes. Is anything going to happen because they are late?

Lots of people pay their taxes late. Just pay the tax & any penalty & change the mailing address for next year's tax bill.

You will pay a higher amount that's all. You may want to have your taxes paid via an escrow account so this doesn't happen in the future. Talk to your lender.

If you have a mortgage, your property taxes are probably paid through your escrow. Check it out first before writing a check.

You would have to pay a plenty and back taxes on top of the taxes that you do owe.
