Kurt Warner will start the season as the starting QB, but I think that coach Dennis Green will switch to Matt Leinart as the starter before the season ends. I don't think it will be because of Warner being injured, but that he will have too many interceptions or fumbles and the change will be needed. I think that Matt Leinart will become a solid starter in the NFL after that.

It will be difficult for the Cardinals franchise to let Leinart stand on the sidelines with all the money they are paying him. Leinart is their future at QB no doubt.
Warner will start the season. He will be under major pressure to win and if he does, he'll retain the job. But, with the first sign of trouble or a loss or 2, Arizona will waste no time gettin Leinart in there. The AZ offensive line is definitely going to have to step up though or it might not matter, even with the offensive weapons at WR and RB they have.

When was the last time Warner played a full season? Many years ago....he's not getting any younger, and his body is very fragile. He will be lucky to start 8 games this year. Plus he's got Matt Leinart looking over his shoulder.

Injurues seem to be part of Warner but now with having James maybe their running game will keep Warner healthier. Even if you are a die hard Rams fan i don't think you want your season on the shoulders of a rookie QB. Leinert may turn into a very good QB, he has all the tools, but he does need time to learn the game.

Great question!

I doubt it very much, we had a poll on this question over at www.FantasyFanBase.com and some guys were predicting he would last more than 2 games without a major injury, while others thought he would get halfway through the season, but overall the consensus was he wouldnt play the whole yr.

I doubt any QB will start all 16 games these days. They keep inventing new rules to protect QBs, but the linemen attacking them are just getting bigger, faster and stronger. Signal cllaers need to MAN UP and hit the gym!

Warner will get injured after the 2nd game so Lienart would have to show him who's boss.
