Arrange a meeting with IMF, world bank and G8 leaders and hear their proposals to help the world, then bring in an African woman whose lost all her children to starvation, a Palestinian child whose parentless, a slum child worker, a victim of the European sex slave trade, a mexican immigrant, a south American poor man who lost his trade to "Big Business". I'd sit these across from the "leaders" and say "ok-nice suggestions, now take a hard look into the eyes of THESE people, listen to their stories and try harder"
2. Cancel world debt and the interest it has generated.
3 release surplus food stocks to the Thisrd World
4. Create free trade areas undominated by corporate empires.
5 Give South America freedom to be economically independent.
6. decrease military spending by 70% and redivert funds to humanitarian projects and environmental research & development.
7 rehaul the education system to teach philsophy so people can learn why to be good people, not just how to abide by laws.
8 rehaul the community structure so it is ethically self sufficient in that a community has Advocates to assist in self improvement, care work, community work for those who break the law-so they are punished to teach them why what they do hurts others so they wont do it.
9. develop a training programme so politicians have to be qualified to lead.
10. Remove the democratic process because it has become infected with greed and is nothing more than a plutocracy.
11. Redesign the networks to make them more balanced in their reporting and honesty above all. Take media entertainment out of kids bedrooms and into social halls so they dont turn into social retards and can exercise their skills at games or watch dvds WITH others.
12. Encourage a system of in home ducation for any with disabilities.
13. Pour more money into hospitals and retreat and counselling centres.
14. Create camps for people to work on the environment in their areas as part of community initiatives around the world.
15. Create a Forum in Every town, city and village in the world for people to air their views and dialogue on issues freely and without fear of violence and judgement. Also for religious co-existence and dialogue.
16. No more "sponsor a child" crap. Its-we'll fly over the fishing rod, grain and goat you'll buy for them. Dont send money to countries unstable enough to abuse it-send what the PEOPLE need, not what the soldiers want.
17. Establish a World High Council to direct these efforts of humanity to help humanity made up of specialists from fields that have direct impact upon the lives of people-no more shall the minister for the environment have a tiny office and staff compared to the Minister for trade or finance. And no more shall businessmen or sons of powerful people become leaders. They will ALL be qualified and caring.
18. Establish a World Capital not in a city but somewhere like The Azores to ensure even grounded neutrality to ALL parties and independedent of outside pressures (its a disgrace the UN building is in USA).
19. Resolve Africa NOW.
20. Reward environmental and humanitarian successes by governments with lessened trade tariffs for a year.
21. Dispatch those who deal drugs to work with AIDS victims. Each drug dealer will be assign a particular AIDS victim to see through until the end of their lives.
22. Rejuvenate Siberia and Central America with no strings attached investment so the masses of Eastern Europeans flooding Western Europe and Mexicans flooding USA have an emptier just as prosperous option to turn to.
23. Free Icecream day-every child under the age of 12 each year in the world will recieve an icecream. May seem little but for the millions upon millions of poor children it will be a nice gesture from The World Council.
24. Greater Horticultural research-the key to freeing the world from poverty and starvation lies ultimately in agriculture so greater imput here will have vast effects in Africa, Asia and elsewhere.
25. Make where its plausible Wednesday another day off in the working week.

It depends in which country I was chosen world leader in. If it is the USA it wouldn't matter to much, because everything has to go through the house and senate before anything could be done, and they have so many there that all they have time to do is argue, and do stalling techniques. If I could I would fire every single one of them. They say that they represent the people, but I haven't seen to many people happy with their decisions. If it was in the Middle East, I would immediately stop the fighting, therefore the other country was cease fire also. In Iraq, I would tell the Americans to leave because I would hope to be efficient enough that I could get my country back under control. The problem with fighting in those countries is that they are fighting for their god, and it is an endless battle until of course everyone that can fight is dead, and then there would be no need to fight anymore.

destroy all the arms in the world. Ban anybody with a political ideology from ever having any kind of power. Set up a system of psychometric tests so that the running of the world was left to hard working, open minded, intelligent but politically apathetic doormats who have no interest in having any kind of power. Then I'd take what money I could and resign, leaving the world in the capable hands of those who are happy to do what people actually want.

I'd order the drugging of all water supplies in every war zone. I would then follow up with armed forces interventions in these arenas until democracies were established and self rule was implemented. I would then restrict all sea lanes and order the inspection of every vessel through out the planet regardless of cost. I would unify all currency into world credits or dollars. I would ban the death penalty world wide. I would re implement exile for crimes that are serious to isolated islands in the Arctic. All other criminal activity would be treated as a disease, hence the perpetrators would receive treatment then exile to a more hospitable location where they could earn their return to mainstream society. I would order universal health care and minimum education through out the planet and make higher education an option for those that scored highly on grading by providing it at no expense. If I could do all this in the remains of my life time it would be enough for me I think. I would then allow myself to be judged by the world court and accept my punishment for this dictatorial leadership I was engaged in. I would then finish my days in exile, probably in the Arctic, LOL!

For Bad cops and corrupt people, I wouldn't put up with this either. I'd say if you do something that is currupt to one person while you have been given Authority, then you will be held accountable for it by losing this Authority.No and if's or but's about it! I'd pass a bill on that riight away. then I'd cut off some of this aid going to other countries. I would then look into another way to produce Gasoline, like Alaska and corn. This would be our Gasoline resource. No needing to buy it from other Lands.Then I'd pass a Bill saying that all people should make the same wages, Everyone is a have to me. Education law would be passed to. No kids would be allowed to drop school so easy. Parents would be pentilized for that one! Then I'd pass a bill on the Rock stars and Movie stars, Ceo's and such that thier income can and will not exceed to the Greedy level. I might even want to pass a Law stating that all people are haves and all people should make the same wages.But I'd have to think on that one some more? If your educated then you would make more Money, just not what you make now. then to all the Doctor's that use medicaids Money for surgeries that only leave some peopel more disabled, I'd say that they would then have to pay the bill out of thier pockets, due to the fact that you made a person more disabled! I bet thier would be a lot of people needing less surgeries.Then I would surly have to look into global Warming. I'd put a stop on the gases going up into the air. I'd say to these big companies only so much and then enough is enough! I'd allow are Tuna fish to be checked out again. As the first step to a better world I would help to work with the Earth we live on not taking from it without giving back. So more nautral things. And help all animals and have real equal education for all children and a fair priced college. Also to stop a lot of the fighting all people would get equal basic human rights, like the right to be safe where they live, to be happy, marriage laws (yes everybody GLB marriage too), equal rights for women everywhere and so on.
