Yes... True friendship does exist... Friends help to get rid of loneliness and ease the burdens you carry thru life... I have friends I've had since high school that still stay in touch... How? Well, to have a friend, one must be a friend to someone else... That means that you share things - not only physical things, but life experiences - whether good or bad - and try to help out and watch out and pray for that friend...
The bond of friendship is a gift from God and most people will tell you that they only have a few REALLY good friends at best... Some don't have any, and that's a real shame... Some just get too caught up in life and think only of themself first and never let down their guard... Friendship is built on trust and the willingness to let oneself be hurt (vulnerability)... The more you risk in a friendship, the deeper the relationship can become...
Most people will say the more one invests in a relationship, the more you'll get out of it. I disagree. Relationships are like slot machines - some are more quickly rewarding than others. Some you can invest a whole lotta time and energy in and never get anywhere deeper because the other is not willing to open up and share more of themself. Others are more open and honest and caring... Those are the ones that need to be developed and deepened for they'll be with you in the next life. After all, relationships are the only thing you'll take from this world to the next...
I highly recommend you make friends with Jesus Christ - the Friend of friends... He's the BEST Friend you'll ever have. The best part is that His Daddy becomes your Daddy...! Having God for a Daddy AND Brother is entirely GREAT...! YAY!!!
Hope this answers your question... Have a great day...! =)

yes when you are just starting your life you meet people you know nothing about and they know nothing about you, and you guys are playing like your best friends, and then later on in life they know you a lot better and so you kinda know if you can trust em or not, cus you've been Friends for your whole life where people you just meet that you are not going to spend most of your time growing up together you can't really say there true friends b/c you really don't know nothing about em.

I am assuming you mean exist, and if so I do believe in true friendship. I have had one best friend since Jr. High and I am 48 now. It is very easy, you have to be a friend to have a friend.

yes I do believe true friendship exist, a true friend is a person you can trust and depend on, they are loyal, they support you when you are right and stand up to you when you are wrong. I would say that in all our lifetime we will have lots of friends, but we will have only one true friend,

my experience has always been that if u have friends from early childhood and keep in touch through the years then they tend to stay with you a little longer then those you meet later on in life.
that is of course just personal opinion
