I know I can remove it in the view menu. To add furthur insult I have to uncheck the Google toolbar to remove the Yahoo toolbar.

Use the Add/Remove Programs control panel to uninstall the Yahoo Toolbar.

To remove a toolbar, go to control panel, find add or remove programs...Click on the one you want removed, and it will be removed...If it isn't in the control panel, try start>>all programs, and look for that heading>>Right click it, and see if it has the heading of: Uninstall...Left click that, and voila! Your program should be removed...

Do your add/remove stuff in the control panel. BUT, it is very difficult to remove anything yahoo wants to put there.
