No. Only about 1 in 3 pregnant women experience implantation bleeding.

Not every woman, but I had it at 6 weeks. Needless to say, I panicked (glad I did), made an appointment at the hospital at the Early Pregnancy Assesment Unit and they did an internal scan and reassured me all was well. They even gave me the picture of the baby in progress, which was basically a 'yolk' as they described it. It is quite nice that I have a picture of it when the baby was just a tiny baba, and then at 12 weeks I saw him moving with little legs and hands, lots more to see at 20 weeks and again I had one at 32 weeks. The baby is 11 weeks now. Sorry to blab on, just got carried away.

Don't know about every woman, but I did - quite a lot with my 2nd child - thought it was a period. That made it quite difficult to date the due birth (we thought she would be born in early December but she came in mid Nov!). If you're concerned speak to your midwife or GP.

It's not something that happens to every woman, but it's not uncommon either.
