they have the means, but syria and iran or helping lebanese hezbollah fight them, this could turn into a real problem for us.

There will be more destruction. Israel has nothing to loose. But USA will have to spend more on their security to protect their people from terrorist attacks.
Destruction of a country is not a scale with which winning a war is measured. The basic solution to the middle east problem still remains. Then what is victory?

Israel cannot win in Lebanon because it is holding back massive troop deployment to fight Hezbollah. The fear of high casualties will cost Israel even more in the future. All they have to show for after two weeks are 2 hezbollah villages in S Lebanon and destruction of infrastructure, weapons, rockets - not enough to claim victory. Hezbollah has become the pride of the muslim world and Nasrullah the hero adored by millions in the Mid East.

i think finally israel with UN resoultion will win war,but now i think every thing is oppose for israel because of deadly air strike to Qana village.
