you can try 20 mule team borax sprinkled in the termite infested areas.....my grandpa would melt candle wax and pour the borax in the wax....termites do eat wax, and the borax is supposed to kill them and their colonies
sometimes the old folks know what they are talking about.....it would be worth a try!

Termites need access to water and dirt. They come in through pipeways in your slab and along the side of the house. If the slab is cracked, that is also an opening for them to come in.
Best thing to do is to treat the ground around your slab, and if you can get to them, around the pipe openings coming up through the slab.
There are two good termite killers produced in the US. One is called Dursban, and is sold in some hardware stores, depending upon which state you live. The other, is really difficult to come by and has an active ingredient called Chlordane.
Both should be used with caution, and are best applied just below the top of the soil where the termits come into the house.
In some states there are bait traps that you can buy and they are the easiest to use. You just bury them in the soil according to directions, and the bait poisons the termits.
The problem you run into in states like Texas, the pest control lobby has lobbied the state house and made it very difficult to obtain the materials. Sometimes you can find these materials in privately owned hardware stores that are not part of the big chain hardware store.

there's only one hope for depression. That is an effective anti depressant medication. Depression comes from a checmical imbalance in the neurotransmitters and the brain and nothing in the world will alleviate unless you compensate for it. The right medication will do it. When you're depressed, you're unable to interact with a therapist by talking or be with or around anyone so talk therapy won't work. Being around people is a waste because the loss of interest makes it difficult to tolerate company and again, verbal interaction. You will have no desire for pets or taking care of animals as it's too labor intensive, too complex and your mind can't handle it. Excercise requires motivation which you have none. Until you can compensate for the chemical imbalance that's causing the depression and anxiety, none of these suggestions are useful.. Once you regain your sense of motivation and desire to do things, only then can any interaction or activity possibly help feel good.. There are ssri's, snri's mao inhibitors and trycyclic anti depressants. Some work better than others depending on the individdual. It is frustrating until you find one that works well with tolerable side effects. If none of these are ever an option, try ect (shock therapy)l

Buy a chimpanzee and sit him down by your termites. I've watched them on animal shows. They love eating termites.
