I had black mould in my bedroom it was caused by the house next door being totally renovated and the heat of my house hitting the wall caused mould .
I was told to keep the room well ventilated and improve the heat .
If its in the bathroom its due to the steam so a window should be open if its in the kitchen again better ventilation .
I was told this from a damp expert when he was looking at my mould.
Now the house next door is renovated my mould has gone.
Hope this helps

Any mould is the result of an airborne spore, which will grow in warm, wet places. To kill the spore, particularly in bathroom areas, a weekly spray with a teaspoon of bleach to a pint of water works well

It's dangerous to health, especially if you have a young child with asthma. You can get rid of it by washing the area with 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda dissolved in 1/4 pint hot water, made up to 1 pint with warm water. It's anti fungal.

Its a species mold that is brought on by moisture and mildew.
It will make you have respiratory problems if it is not taken care of. Unfortunetly alot of homes that were not destroyed here by hurricane Katrina are having to be demolished due to this mold, because the health hazards are so high.

Black mold mostly grows in restrooms where it is dark and moist. It is dangerous to both children and adults as it effects the lungs and is toxic to the body. If you have it, clean it.
