Every time I listen to Laura pausinis old songs such as "inolvidable", "la soledad", it reminds me of my ex and I have to run away because it inflicts such a torturing vivid pain I cant take. Some songs make me feel in love "las cosas que vives" other make me feel horny "peaking, instrumental remix, from darude" and when I am depressed "Huelo a soledad" is the best thing to listen to.
Unless you are familiar with Hispanic music, you wont have a clue.

My father passed away a couple years ago at the age of 85, and fought it to the very end. Shortly after Five for Fighting came out with the song about "A Hundred Years". Broke my heart then, still does now.

Right now the song "Not Ready to Play Nice" by the Dixie Chicks means something to me, and everytime I hear it I think about how strong people need to be to keep fighting for their rights and that is powerful. That song has a great music video too. You can go to LOGO and they have the music video there so you can watch it.

Bette Midler's, Wind Beneath My Wings is one of those songs I gain solice from. I will always get happy, and emotional when I hear it, either sung originally or even the muzak version. Music that tends to move a person often becomes timeless and that particular song I believe has become that and also has given Ms. Midler her immortal stardom. =)

One of my best friends was killed last year in FL and they played a song @ her funeral that made me ball! She loved country music. I rarely listen to it but I burned this song on a cd when I need a "lookback". Its by Mark Wills and its called "Holes in the floor of heaven".
Also, anything by Sarah McLauchlin cuz her voice is so pretty but sad. "Angel" or "I will remember you".
