You know, for someone who insists they they are not a pedophile, you sure seem very interested in getting information about the subject. Are you also too ignorant to look up the definition of this word on your own? Give me a break would ya, see if you can ask a question that is at least semi-normal. And on that note, if you don't want people thinking you are one SICK PUPPY, quit asking such psychotic questions!!!

I think there is no any reasonable definition what is punishable pedophilia. . Being a pedophile without acting is not punishable. It is a state of mind. And loving children is not a pedophilia. Only sexual attraction is. How to be sure? And how to proof bad roots of acting is not defined. To kiss a child's cheek may be good and may be wrong. Parents surely can touch children, but what's if someone prosecute them as pedophile? And it may happen that he/she is! Should anybody make the handbook of maintenance for children? We are in deep..problem. And the problem is called: working and tried parents cannot take proper care for their children who are then exposed to strangers. We try to regulate something that should be only done by parents. Because only they know.

Paedophile literally translates as "lover of children". This is not really a very accurate term. Generally it is used to refer to someone who finds children sexually attractive.
