Average morning temp around 85, usually gets up to around 95+ and feels like over 100+ degrees because of the 90-100% humidity. The very few clothes that you will end up wearing will be soaked just from being outside for a minute. Afternoon rainstorms are not as likely because Orlando is in the middle of the state- no seabreeze to start storms. But when they do come= brief, intense and offers no respite from the heat. Got to love it! At least the hurricanes usually keep the temps below 90 when they come!

August is one of the hottest months and it is hurricane season. There are afternoon showers and lightning storms. Florida is the lighting capital of the world - so you must get inside when there is a lightning storm which can be a little disruptive. It is NOT a good time to go to the theme parks - too hot, too humid, too dangerous with lightning and heat strokes. You must use sun block to protect against sunburn.

Hot. This year very Hot! No major hurricanes as of yet. But just heard on news they are watching a disturbance in the tropic's. But that doesn't mean anything. It could dwindle out or go in another direction. You just have to keep watching your tropical updates on the weather channel.

Well, not as bad as the Midwest currently. You get rain on and off and its hot in between, but the occasional hurricane helps bring temps. down.
