I always see movies get banned in malaysia. why is this?

Myself being Malaysian,,,,,,,,,I feel that films get banned due to the fact that the Govt always think that the people are easily influence,,,,,,,,when Mighty Morphing Power Rangers were aired, they were scared that kids watching it might get introduced to drugs because of the word "Morphing"

Some other movies get banned because they are seen as having morally wrong messages,,,,,,,again, they think they people are 3 years old. But anyhow,,,,,,,,,there is always the bootleg copies

Because the government worries that if the public watches such "sensitive-content movies" (like the one about Chin Peng?), they'd get influenced and the country would be in chaos?
